The changes include:
New exemption for a detached auxiliary habitable dwelling (32m²–45m²)
Rear garden structure exemption (such as a shed, home office or gym) increased from 25m² to 30m²
These practical reforms will reduce unnecessary red tape, help homeowners adapt their homes to changing family needs, and make better use of existing housing.
